St Joseph’s Preparatory School Gravesend - Kent Built: February 16, 2015 “Very good & the children love the new equipment” A.Shelton – Class Teacher & Teacher Rep on PTA What were the reasons for developing your outdoor space? “To extend the existing Adventure Trail after raising some additional funds” How we transformed the play area to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children: We made sure to add some new challenges to the existing Adventure Trail by providing a new Balance Junction, Tunnel Crawl, Log Roll and Rope Traverse. How the children will benefit from the new play area: The children now have additional opportunities to improve their balancing, traversing, climbing, crawling and coordination skills.
